Re:create estimates that nearly 15 million creatives across the U.S. have generated more than $5 billion in collective earnings across eight online platforms in 2016 alone.

Pál Kerékfy's insight:

2016-ban 15 millió amerikai alkotó keresett 5 milliárd dollárt a művei online eladásával.

A mostanában erősödő Instagram is fölényesen verte őket.

Hol keresik a sok pénzt a magyar kreatívok? Vannak valakinek adatai?

Leading global social networks 2016 | Statistic

Leading global social networks 2016 | Statistic | collaboration | Scoop.it
This statistic provides information on the most popular networks worldwide as of April 2016, ranked by number of active accounts. Market leader Facebook was the first social network to surpass 1 billion registered accounts and currently sits at 1.59 billion monthly active users. Eighth-ranked photo-sharing app Instagram had over 400 million monthly active accounts. Meanwhile, blogging service Tumblr had more than 555 million active blog users on their site.

This analytics firm uses one trillion Facebook and Twitter posts to predict stock movements

This analytics firm uses one trillion Facebook and Twitter posts to predict stock movements | collaboration | Scoop.it

Since it launched in 2008, the Boston-based analytics firm has collected, stored, and indexed over a trillion public posts from Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and Instagram to create the world's largest database of its kind.

Every day I sit with asset managers, and we ask which firm is reporting earnings in the next week or so. We ask what can we find on social media that might inform us about their earnings. We’ve come up with some really interesting predictive data.

A cikkben említett egyik példa a szerencsétlen Samsung Note 7.
